Manitoba Aerospace Association and Manitoba Aerospace Human Resources Council met on Monday morning, March 7, 2016 to vote on an amalgamation of the two organizations.

EnviroTREC participated in this members’ meeting which voted unanimously for the two Not-For-Profit organizations to amalgamate. The new organization, which shall be known as Manitoba Aerospace, Inc. (MAI), will come into effect on April 1, 2016.

All current members of MAA & MAHRC will automatically become members of MAI. Manitoba Aerospace, Inc. will continue to provide all the programs and services currently delivered through the two organizations. All existing employees will also be retained. The new organization will continue to be headquartered at 1000 Waverly Street, which was the former headquarters of MAHRC.

Wendell Wiebe will be the acting Chief Executive Officer of Manitoba Aerospace, Inc. We wish him the very best of success while also offering him our continuing support.
