The Winnipeg WordPress community is a vibrant and helpful one. For three years now WordCamp has assembled local, national and international speakers to present talks on how to manage that increasingly more vibrant and important web development software.  While these “Camps” are an annual affair, there are also monthly WordPress meetings which cover topics of growing interest. Presenters range their content from the introductory presentations down to the depths of the code. There is something for everyone at these events.

EnviroTREC joined in with the WordPress Winnipeg community in 2015 and we have now been to two WordCamps as well as regularly attending the monthly meetings. We find that WP members are very helpful to each other and readily bridge the range of differing interests and approaches to those of us involved with website development.

Our WordPress community has its Facebook page at “WordPress Winnipeg,” and if you’d’ like to attend the monthly meetings, they are held at 245 McDermott – 4th floor classroom, on the first Wednesday of each month! (click to learn more about these monthly meetings.)

EnviroTREC would like to thank RRC (Roblin Campus) for being the host to our WordCamp 2016 and to ACI Manitoba for hosting our WordPress meetings throughout the year!
